Queens Park Medical Centre is a fully accredited General Practice that has been in operation since 2008. We are General Practitioner owned and operated. Most importantly, this ensures that a continuing patient-doctor relationship of trust is maintained. Also, supporting the doctors is a friendly and caring team of nurses and administration staff.
Furthermore, our commitment is to promote the health and well-being of our patients. Importantly, we do this by delivering timely, effective treatment and a holistic approach to care. Above all, our practice, the patient’s needs, values and desired health outcomes remain central to the treatment process.
From the time of making an appointment, to leaving our premises, each and every patient is treated with courtesy, dignity and respect. Moreover, our purpose-built premises is easily accessible from Albany Highway and Welshpool Road. In addition, there is ample parking in our own car park. We are also within walking distance to Queens Park Pharmacy.
With a collective experience of over 20 years in general practice, our team of doctors is equipped with broad knowledge and skills to meet the diverse needs of all patients.

Principal Doctor Timothy Ong has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Western Australia.
He achieved the fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2000. Before this, he obtained a Certificate of Sports Medicine in 1998 (providing medical coverage at East Perth and East Fremantle Football Clubs) and a Diploma of Musculoskeletal Medicine in 1999.

Dr Isabelle Teo was born in Singapore but obtained her Doctor of Medicine postgraduate degree from the University of Sydney in 2017 and continued her medical training rotating through hospitals in the Royal Perth Bentley group. She is currently awaiting fellowship from RACGP.
Her interests include Paediatrics and General Medicine.
Dr Isabelle Teo is currently away on maternity leave and will be returning mid-year, we look forward to having her back with us.

Dr Hollie Speake graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor is Surgery from University of Notre Dame, Masters in Public Health and Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine and achieved the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2023.
She is particularly interested in preventive health care as well as end of life care and symptom management in terminally ill patients.

Sessions: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate Saturdays
Doctor Daniel Kim was born in Western Australia, graduated from UWA in 2011 and achieved the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2023. He is interested in providing the best care available, with special interest in family medicine, general medicine, cardiology/respiratory and kidney disease.
On the other hand, he enjoys watching terrible movies and visiting far away places.

Dr Amrick Banwaith completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2013 and achieved the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2022 . He has special interests in areas of child health and mental health.

Sessions: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Dr Lakmal Nandadewa graduated University of Colombo in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2008. She has over 10 years of hospital experience in Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics and Intensive Care and Anaesthetics.
She has special interests in areas of emergency presentation and procedures, child health and Dermatology. She is working towards fellowships in RACGP and FACEM. Outside of the practice, she is a mom of a sweet little girl, enjoys arts and yoga practice.
Dr Lakmal will be joining our team of doctors in mid-January 2024.

Dr Merilyn Lam graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2019. She has worked in various hospital rotations at the South Metropolitan Health Service and Perth Children’s Hospital. She is currently working towards the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Merilyn will be joining our team of doctors in mid-January 2024.

Mary is a registered nurse and assists the GPs in immunisations, lifestyle management, wound care, diabetes education, Chronic Disease Mangement and general practice nursing duties.

Julie is a registered nurse who assists the GPs with all general practice nursing duties including immunisations, wound care and Chronic Disease Lifestyle Management.
We are a multicultural practice with staff who can speak languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese and Dutch. Therefore, if you require assistance and would like to speak to someone who speaks your language, please inform us when you make an appointment.
Patience and leadership are virtues every manager should have. As a result, I have developed this trait with my experience in medical administration, IT & teaching background.
I am a mother of twins and during my free time I enjoy event decoration and gardening. On the other hand, I am passionate about food, it’s tradition and cooking.
My background is in accounting. But believe that each patient that comes and sees us is more than a number.
I enjoy the opportunity we get to serve each one and to get to know them. In my leisure time, I love to read and spend time with family and friends.
I am a friendly person who always loves the opportunity to meet and interact with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. During my spare time, I enjoy making desserts, baking and spending time with family and friends.
Helping others is my passion. As a medical receptionist, I enjoy helping patients resolve their administrative enquiries. Whenever possible,
I would spend my leisure time helping others through engaging in volunteering activities.
I am a friendly, empathetic person who enjoys working with people. Outside work, I enjoy nature, animals, cooking and spending time with friends and family. Further to this, I am passionate about health care.
My best work traits are that I am a friendly, reliable team player. I enjoy learning and love challenges. In addition, I have passion in helping people in need.
I enjoy interacting with people and it gives me a great pleasure when I can make a positive contribution to those around me.
I look forward to spending every weekend with visits from my children and grandkids. Travelling, craftwork & kayaking are my other interests.
Things are always hectic with phone calls, emails and paperwork but patients are more than just someone coming in to get treated.
I enjoy staying in and watching a good TV series in my free time.
